In Her Own Words
Welcome! I am JoAnna Smith, a 2019 Wheaton alumna. I thoroughly enjoyed and was blessed by Wheaton’s Christian liberal arts education while majoring in Elementary Education with an English as a Second Language (ESL) endorsement.
I most appreciate Wheaton’s distinctive Christian community—found on campus, in the classroom, when sharing meals with friends at Anderson Commons, and through the many campus activities available. My regular interaction with faculty, friends and my involvement in a variety of student groups truly encouraged my academic and spiritual growth. My involvement with the Transfer Orientation Committee, Senior Class Council, Spring Break BreakAway ministry trips, and Wheaton Crew Club team are prime examples of the breadth of campus life opportunities for Wheaton students.
