The Humanitarian Disaster Institute is the first faith-based academic disaster research center in the country. Our mission is to help the church prepare and care for a disaster-filled world. We use our research to create resources and events geared toward students, survivors, helpers, and researchers.

 


Institute for Cross-Cultural Training (ICCT)

Through on-campus and online courses, special workshops, publications and consulting, ICCT focuses on these three key areas:

  • Skills for learning a new language
  • Practical help for those who work with on-field language and culture learners
  • Preparation for teaching English to speakers of other languages
