Wheaton In Spain - Summer 2021
Join us for Wheaton in Spain, an 8-week study abroad program (8-10 hours credit). You will take language courses taught by native Spanish instructors along with civilization courses taught by Wheaton faculty. You'll live in Spanish homes for one month. The program also includes two weeks of touring; sites visited may include Madrid, El Escorial, Toledo, Granada, Córdoba, Sevilla, Mérida, Segovia, Avila, León, Astorga, Santiago de Compostela, Cantabria, and Bilbao. And you'll participate in a service project with national Christians as part of the program's final week in Barcelona.

My experience participating in Wheaton in Spain not only increased my language ability, but also shaped my view of the Kingdom of God. While in Spain, I took on the role of a learner. My Spanish comprehension was limited, so I had to rely on others to help me understand the language. On top of this, living in a different country caused me to reimagine what I considered to be culturally normal. Through these experiences, I learned that each country and culture reflects God in unique ways and has something to bring to the table.
