I grew up in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina. My wife Dafne and I met in our North Carolina home town. We own a home with farm land in Richmond (near Lexington) Kentucky. Dafne and I are enjoying spending our free time in our new Northwoods outdoors including snow sports to hiking, camping, rafting and traveling. I enjoy creating recipes that feed others as they learn about God. It is a blessing to be a Chef in my own home kitchen along with HoneyRock’s.
God’s journey for me started as an Owner/Managing Partner of Carrabba’s Italian Grill in Lexington. As my faith deepened, I left Carrabba’s to complete a Ministry degree with Asbury University. After receiving my degree, I designed and operated a restaurant for the staff of Samaritan’s Purse in Boone, North Carolina. While at Samaritan’s Purse, I completed an alignment for the Food Services at the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. Continuing to be led by Christ, I served as Food Service Director for Crossings Ministries in Kentucky while completing a Seminary Degree at Liberty University. Before joining HoneyRock, I served as Food Service Director of Bell Shoals Baptist Church in Brandon, Florida.
The Lord blessed me with wonderful Christian parents and friends. God’s plan and purpose for me has been a progressive revelation. I trust Him completely and am confident in Him always. I am committed to be a witness for Christ through my life at HoneyRock.
I am excited about working in the God-intended community of HoneyRock. I am enjoying being with a group of people engaging in a common vision, love, and mission. It is inspiring to be a part of the HoneyRock team where I can continue to live, lead, and learn according to God’s calling.
