Friday, August 23

9:00 am - 4:00 pm	Residence Halls open for all new students Meet your new roommate! Check in at residence hall before* stopping by the Student & Parent Orientation Centers. Transfers living in apartments come to the Orientation Center first.*

8:15 am -12:00 pm	"Passport to Wheaton" Students and their parents are invited to join the International Student Programs (ISP) team to learn about the opportunities, programs, and resources available for MKs, TCKs, and International students thought their time at Wheaton. 10:30 - 11:15 am	Dietary Needs Session This session provides information, a dining hall tour, and answers questions for any student who has specific dietary needs including those who are gluten-free, dairy free, have food allergies, etc. Anderson Dining commons (near the registers)

4:30 - 5:30 pm	Heritage Photo Reception Calling all alumni children and grandchildren! Join fellow new students of alumni for a generational photo that will be published in Wheaton magazine. 5:30 – 7:00 pm	A Slice of Wheaton-Transfer Edition Come meet and hear from veteran transfers! Get to know the transfer experience from current students while sampling local pizza favorites. Bring your questions and appetite. Beamer Center, lower level, Phelps Room
7:00 - 10:00 pm	Behind the Scenes with Res Life Learn the essentials of living in Wheaton's residence halls, get to know your RAs and senior staff, and find out why living in community is the Olympic training center of your Christian life. Starts in Beamer Center, upper level, Coray Gym
7:00 - 8:15 pm	Behind the Scenes with Residence Life All Upperclass Halls and Apartments Transfers" Transfers living in MacEvans, Williston, or the apartments are invited to connect with fellow transfers, upperclass RAs, and Transfer OC to learn why living in community is the Olympic training center of your Christian life. 10:30 - 12:00 pm	Insider's Tour of Downtown Wheaton Join current international students on a walking tour of downtown Wheaton to learn about the best restaurants, stores and deals near campus. End the tour with a treat from local dessert spot, Kimmer's Ice Cream! Meet at the ISP Office, Beamer 045
1:00 pm - 3:00 pm	First-Year Advising Meetings All new students are required to meet with a faculty advisor. Location information distributed at Orientation.

5:00 pm	All School Rehearsal and Class Meeting Hear from Student Government about getting involved on campus and practice your class song in preparation for singing together at All School Communion tonight. Edman Memorial Chapel

International (F-1 Visa) Student Orientation Day
New F-1 Visa students must attend this mandatory orientation to learn how to maintain their F-1 visa status and complete the government required check-in process. Plan to also share a meal with international faculty and staff and to learn from the stories of international students succeeding at Wheaton! Breakfast and lunch will be served as part of the program. Learn more on the International Student Programs website.
