International Student Life

An International Community of Faith

Welcome to the United States and to the community at Wheaton College! As part of a growing initiative to serve, equip, and empower existing and incoming international students, Wheaton College is committed to effectively supporting our international students as they learn to thrive on campus.

The Graduate Student Life Office oversees the care and support for international graduate students and is committed to supporting you while you are studying at Wheaton. This includes International Graduate Student Orientation before the fall semester begins to provide an intentional preparation time unique to the needs of an international student. This year, International Graduate Student Orientation will be held on August 21-23, 2019. There will also be events throughout the year to foster community and help students navigate life in the U.S. for those studying from around the world.

This office is also the liaison between the international student and the Immigration and Naturalization Service and provides advising for F-1 student visa holders so that a student can feel confident in navigating the responsibilities involved with being an international student in the United States.

We are here to assist a student's educational journey in cooperation with the academic and service departments of Wheaton College and seek to assist international students in their adjustment to American culture and campus life.
