M.A. Global Leadership – Outdoor Ministry Requirements (36 Credit Hours Total) 

Students complete 36 required credit hours as listed below to graduate with an M.A. in Global Leadership - Outdoor Ministry Track. 

Mission Ministry and Leadership Requirements (6 Credits) 

  • MML 512 Leadership and Spiritual Formation (4) 
  • MML 503 Cultural Engagement (2) 

Global Leadership Requirements (6 Credits) 

  • LEAD 547 Communication and Leadership (2) 
  • LEAD 652 Strategic Management (2) 
  • LEAD 662 Leading Multicultural Teams (2) 

Outdoor Ministry Requirements (14 Credits) 

  • OAL 549 Program Philosophy and Planning (4) 
  • OAL 662 Theology and Practice of Outdoor Ministry (4) 
  • OAL 663 Organizational Leadership and Staff Development (4) 
  • OAL 682 Integrative Seminar (2)  

Biblical or Theological Studies course (4 Credits)

  • Select from BITH 565/566/576

Electives (6 Credits) 

  • Students can select courses (with the approval of the Program Coordinator, and pending availability) from different programs in the School of Mission, Ministry, and Leadership that best suit their vocational needs.
