In Her Own Words
I am a first-generation college student who recently graduated from Wheaton College. During my time as an undergraduate, I studied Sociology. However, because of the liberal arts curriculum, I was able to take classes from a variety of disciplines – it really allowed for my intellectual curiosity to flourish! In addition to the academics, I participated in many extracurricular activities like Sabor Latino, Solidarity Cabinet and Unidad Cristiana. Whether it was through the academics or extracurricular activities, I was blessed abundantly by the Wheaton community.
I’d be happy to share more information about Wheaton that relates to your passions and interests. Maybe that’s our commitment to holistic education within the liberal arts and sciences, our academic majors, or Wheaton’s distinctively Christian (90% residential!) community. Overall, I’d just really love to connect you with life here at Wheaton, and help you see yourself here in years to come.
