Hi! I’m Abbey Yoder, a 2012 Wheaton College graduate. I’m so grateful for my experience at Wheaton and for how this institution has impacted me. There really was no better place than Wheaton to challenge me in the classroom and shape me spiritually. One of my very favorite parts about my Wheaton experience was living and serving in community at HoneyRock, Wheaton’s campus in the northwoods of Wisconsin. After graduation, I spent two years doing leadership development with students on mission and wilderness trips, and now I’m so excited to be back at Wheaton. There are many ways to jump into life on campus, and I’d love to help you get a vision for what that could look like. Read more about me.

A Christian Liberal Arts curriculum is the perfect complement to a global perspective. This is a prominent feature of a Wheaton College education, and this has been my own experience as a learner and follower of Christ. For over a decade I have served students crossing cultural or national borders in pursuit of educational advancement. Whether you are a national of another country and desire to study in the United States as an International student, or you have a US passport but have grown up abroad for a family member’s career or ministry calling, I’m here to help you. Welcome! As a 2015 Wheaton College graduate I am so glad to know you are considering this remarkable place on your college journey. I am who I am today largely because of the way the Lord used Wheaton College to transform me: I am eternally grateful! Despite growing up in a neighboring town to Wheaton, I truthfully had no idea about the highly formational Christian education that I could receive from an institution that was right down the street. Thankfully, my youth pastor encouraged me to investigate and once I was on campus I knew this was where I wanted to be. Read more about me.

You are approaching one of the most important decision making moments in your life and I count it a distinct privilege to walk with you through this point in your journey. Navigating the college search isn’t an easy process, so my prayer for you is the same as Paul’s prayer for the Ephesian church—that God “may give you the Spirit of wisdom” as you seek His will for your next step. While I did not attend Wheaton for my undergraduate years, I’m no stranger to its community and value. Studying mathematics in a Christian liberal arts context led me to Wheaton’s campus my senior year of college. Read more about me.

I am a first-generation college student who recently graduated from Wheaton College. During my time as an undergraduate, I studied Sociology. However, because of the liberal arts curriculum, I was able to take classes from a variety of disciplines – it really allowed for my intellectual curiosity to flourish! In addition to the academics, I participated in many extracurricular activities like Sabor Latino, Solidarity Cabinet and Unidad Cristiana. Whether it was through the academics or extracurricular activities, I was blessed abundantly by the Wheaton community. Read more about me.

Welcome, I’m glad you’re here! As a proud recent Wheaton alumna, I am so glad to hear you are considering my alma mater for your college experience. While a student I studied Communication, represented Wheaton as a captain on the women’s basketball team, and became a “regular” at nearly every coffee shop in town. Wheaton has the unique ability to draw students from all over the country and around the world, and the breadth of life experiences represented on this close-knit campus is something that I am extremely thankful for.
