Honors thesis student April Futch (’18) Presents at The American Physical Society Division of Plasma Physics Meeting, San Jose, California
April presented a poster on The Effects of Resistivity and Viscosity on m=0 Rise and Fall Time. She used a well-established visco-resistive magnetohydrodynamics code to simulate toroidally confined plasmas and compared her work to experimental measurements in the Madison Symmetric Torus at the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
