Throughout the year, Wheaton College Chinese Language and Culture Club seeks to showcase and promote traditional Chinese culture and society.
Two major annual events organized by CLACC (Chinese Language and Culture Club) are the Mid-autumn Festival and the New Year Celebration.
Other events include Tea Tasting, Game Night, Dumpling Party, Bubble Tea Fundraisers, etc. Workshops such as Chinese calligraphy, paper cutting, and others are held to introduce students to Chinese traditional culture.
Special speakers are featured on a variety of topics such as the Chinese church, Chinese and American culture comparison, etc.
Chinese language students and CLACC student leaders and members also have the opportunity to lead the Department of Modern and Classical Languages chapel and serve and worship in local Chinese churches.
