Before coming to Wheaton College, Christine worked at Good Shepherd Church in Naperville where she developed and led a mental health ministry and adult learning groups. Since she always had a desire to work in higher education, she transitioned to Wheaton College where she is the Coordinator for the Center for Faith and Disability. She provides oversight to the Special Education Endorsement practicum placement program that prepares future educators to effectively serve students with exceptional needs. Christine also supports the overall mission of the Center, which seeks to help schools, churches, and parachurch organizations become communities of belonging and flourishing for all.
Christine is married to Henry and they have four children who keep them busy. She spends her “free” time reading and shuttling kids to their activities. One child is an Eagle Scout, one is on a competitive dance team, one is pursuing a black belt in taekwondo, and the oldest is studying business at Illinois State University.
