Wheaton taught me how to ask questions. I didn't always agree with what I heard in class or in chapel. But it was acceptable to provide critique or to challenge the status quo. That example of open-mindedness and availability for debate set by the faculty served as professional examples for me.
As a physical therapist, it is critical that I continue to ask questions regarding the care I provide. Additionally, it is perhaps more critical to know how to be open-minded, facilitating debate of new approaches to treatment and being willing to accept a fresh way of doing things.
