Explore the different theoretical and practical approaches to schooling across international boundaries and the way these differences are informed by philosophical and cultural ideals.
Program Overview
This program provides students with the opportunity to observe and interact with schools in international contexts. Students will read and discuss philosophers of education from the host countries (England, France, and Germany) and will spend time observing classrooms and interacting with students and teachers from schools in those countries. In addition, students will interact with the local cultures and engage in informal conversations with future teachers from colleges in those cultures.
