Saturday, May 03, the Billy Graham Center Museum at Wheaton College
is facilitating several brief sessions of art conversations about French impressionist Georges Rouault and the relevance of his artwork. The Wheaton Public Library is hosting these sessions on their main floor. Wheaton College art history student Stephen Westich will guide these discussions on the 20th-Century French impressionist and the relevance of his work.

This event is free and open to all ages. No RSVP is necessary. The exhibit “Christ in the Darkness” is on display through May 26, 2014 in both the BGC Museum Sacred Arts Gallery and the Wheaton Public Library.
Georges Rouault was one of very few artists whose work was clearly religious while also deeply identified with the sufferings of humanity. Living and creating through two world wars, Rouault through his engraving discovers that even in the darkest places, Jesus dwells.
